Sandbach Gymnastics
Club History | ||||
Formally a bakery, the building was converted for
gymnastics during June 1991. The centre now offers gymnastics from
beginner to international standard, for girls and boys aged 4-16 years.
The general gymnastics programme is led by Danni Cwiklinski, who
co-ordinates classes on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. The
comprehensive training and coaching facilities at the centre enabled the
club to achieve a high level of training and competition performance.
The club has been represented at international level in Belgium, Sweden,
Holland, USA, Australia, Hungary, Romania and Italy. We moved to Millbuck Way in 2007. A great move for the Club, many more gymnasts benefit from training and competition due to our new location.

In May 2006 Sandbach Gymnastics relocated to larger premises in Sandbach. The new location will provide Sandbach Gymnastics with far greater space for gymnastics and thereby increase our potential. Its is hoped that we will be able to provide many more gymnastics related activities.
We have been at the new gym for just over a year now. The depth of gymnastics we can now achieve has risen dramatically. In 2007 we competed approximately 100 gymnasts in categories from recreational to National.
